International Olympiad

International Olympiad is an International education competition in which participants representing hundreds of Countries will compete with one another in educational and cultural activities. During this event a fair is also held to promote the participating Countries; each Country will be given a stand/stall where they can display material that would represent the Country’s culture, history etc. In the year 2008, for the first time Maldivian student from Lale Youth International School participated in this competition, which was broadcast live on major International and National Television channels. Since 2008 every year Lale students has represented Maldives in Olympiad and has won bronze medal twice.
