International Olympiad

Lale Youth International school students have won bronze medal from the International Earth Science Olympiad held in Indonesia from 18-28th September 2010. Both the Maldives and USA have shared bronze medal when hosting Indonesia won the Gold.

The Two students participated from LYIS is Mr. Abdulla Bin Ashraf of Grade 9A and Ahmed Rijwan of Grade 9 B. LYIS mathematics teacher Mr. Emrah Durak accompanied the students in Indonesia.

LYIS highly appreciates the helping hand given by Ministry of Education, Especially the honorable Minister Dr.Musthafa Luthfi and our parents for participating in this event.
